Founder's Bio

BrokeBoyz Clothing Company was founded by Tomas Moreno. Born and raised in the slums of Inglewood, CA. A neighborhood known as 'The Bottoms' infamous for its drug and gang environment. Flooded by poverty it was hard to progress financially given I was the first born to two hard working parents who only have grade school education and had dreams of their son pursuing the American Dream.

Growing up I was exposed to a lot of things most of my peers in college or suburban grown kids never experienced. It was then instituted in me from local gang members that mentored me to stick to baseball (my biggest passion) and school neglecting me from becoming another statistic of the inner-city. it was that wisdom I received which would go on to become my meal ticket to make it out the hood and seek a better life.

I'm currently pursuing my passion of playing competitive baseball for Chico State Club Baseball where I go to school (California State University, Chico). I'm a second year student majoring in Business with an emphasis on Entrepreneurship. I decided to kick in my entrepreneurial spirit and brought you all 'BrokeBoyz Clothing Company'
